Homeserve (aeromove)
Alaia played a key role in helping Homeserve Technologies launch the Aeromove program (www.aeromove.ca), an online destination for consumers who wish to earn Aeroplan Miles for various move-related transactions such as the purchase and sale of their home through a cooperating Realtor. Alaia personnel provided project management and key technical/development services to Homeserve’s in-house team in order to achieve the launch of their new Aeromove business.
The Aeromove Web Site was architected to connect to both Aeroplan and service providers through Web Services interfaces. The back end solution also allows service providers to update service order status via a Web Services interface. This Web Site is mission-critical for Aeromove, as over 90% of their customers place orders and register via the site. From a technology perspective, this demonstrates Alaia’s ability to effectively use Web Services to connect to other systems.
